Job Description:
Immediate need for an experienced intermediate-level Electrical Engineer with a proven interest in building design and sound knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, particularly with commercial and health care facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and telecommunications plans including all associated circuitry, details, one-line diagrams and specifications.
• Perform system design, load calculations, arc flash and fault current, lighting, and any other calculations required to support electrical design.
• Prepare electrical construction documents including drawings, specifications, and reports for buildings.
• Work closely with the client and other design team members, including owners, architects, and contractors.
• Selection and specification of appropriate equipment.

Job Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in designing Electrical Systems for commercial and healthcare facilities with AE or MEP consulting firms.
• Must have a strong and proven project list.
• Strong AutoCAD capabilities; Revit desired.
• Strong understanding of the NEC and the International Building Codes.
• Ability to multi-task with multiple projects to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.

Education:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
