Client:
Our client is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractor specializing in the installation of utility substations, power generation and industrial facilities. Utilizing a team of in-house project managers, construction managers, and engineers, they successfully manage the execution of the engineering, procurement, and construction of a multitude of projects. Engineering is executed via subcontract with AE firms. In-house engineering activities serve as preliminary engineering design and act as critical oversight of the subcontracted engineering firms.

Job Description:
Immediate need for a Document Control Specialist responsible for managing the document control functions for our client. This includes being the primary point of contact for document control support, maintenance of the appropriate project documents, enforcement of standards and best practices, preparation of training materials and training for both internal and external project personnel, and coordination with counterparts for both owner and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining projects in ProCore and on internal servers
• Define and enforce standards for document control within our client and for specific project needs
• Prepare training materials and provide training to all users, as needed
• Define processes for managing, approving, and auditing access to project documents
• Support bid efforts utilizing ProCore or by other means
• Act as primary point of contact for document control needs and work with administrative support resources, as necessary
• Attend meetings with customers, vendors, contractors to discuss document control requirements, updates, and issues
• Coordinate with team members to ensure their needs are met within the defined standards
• Act as the document control lead where necessary due to resource constraints

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Document Controls
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using ProCore.
• MUST have experience in executing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts

Education:
Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) in engineering or business with equivalent combination of training and experience
