We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Interior Superintendent to manage the interior construction of commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities related to the interior build-out, ensuring that work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations. This role requires expertise in commercial interior construction, strong leadership, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the interior construction activities for commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, hotels, and other commercial facilities.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams, ensuring all work is completed to specification and within project timelines.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate execution of interior build-outs.
- Ensure the project site complies with all safety standards, building codes, and regulations throughout the interior construction phase.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to schedules, making adjustments as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the project management team, subcontractors, and clients regarding interior construction progress and issues.
- Monitor and manage the flow of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and avoid project delays.
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to the construction schedule.
- Maintain daily logs, including progress reports, material usage, and safety records.
- Ensure proper installation of interior finishes, including flooring, drywall, ceilings, lighting, and other components as specified in the project design.
- Coordinate with project managers to maintain an accurate project schedule, ensuring deadlines are met and changes are properly documented.
- Ensure that quality control is maintained for all interior work, conducting inspections to confirm compliance with design and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in interior construction, specifically for commercial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of interior construction processes, including materials, methods, and best practices for commercial spaces.
- Experience managing subcontractors and trade partners involved in commercial interior construction (e.g., carpenters, electricians, painters, drywall installers).
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design documents, and project specifications.
- Proficient in construction management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
