INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER
PRAXIS3 is currently seeking a Project Manager within our growing multidisciplinary interior design team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate would be r esponsible for managing the client expectations for the project, along with teammates and consultants to ensure that all steps and procedures are taken and that all work is completed as planned. Our interiors team broadly specializes in financial, workplace, automotive, higher education, and mixed-use / housing sectors. We believe that a broad range of work can be interrelated, and that work in a variety of sector types and programs strengthens abilities in all, providing for a diversity of perspectives in practice not usually found in a single discipline or overly specialized design firm.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Function as the primary contact for all communication between the client and PRAXIS3, ensuring timely resolution of client concerns and management of business issues including contracts and additional services.
· Be responsible for the complete integration of design and technical aspects of the project and for the clear and timely communication of information to the project team and compliance with the project team’s goals.
· Effectively manage /collaborate with team members to maintain positive interaction, while ensuring the highest product quality, meeting client expectations within the approved fee budget, project budget and project schedule.
· Manage the project contract performance and process, understanding the scope, budget, and quality agreed to by the client.
· Ensure that design reviews occur and provide design solutions at the designated stages of projects
· Conduct drawing reviews to ensure quality, completeness, and consistency with client requirements
· Determine project staffing assignments by identifying the skill sets required to execute specific tasks.
· Establish both quantitative and qualitative goals and objectives for each project.
· Strong knowledge in construction drawings and construction admin/ on-site coordination.
· Ability to coordinate consultants through all phases of design, including MEP Engineers, Structural Engineers, etc.
· Ability to spark collaboration amongst all design team members to deliver a successful project.
· Knowledge of furniture manufacturer’s systems and ability to prepare budgets, furniture plans and detailed specifications.
· Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversight.
· Assist with marketing and business development needs.
· Knowledge of Financial and Roll-out work is a major plus.
· Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or equivalent with 10+ years of experience working in Interior Design /Architecture Project Management role.
· Fluency and confidence using Revit is a must.
· Strong Communication skills in written and verbal
· NCIDQ or equivalent accreditation.
