Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- The Senior Accountant will prepare monthly journal entries
- Review all invoices for appropriate General Ledger coding
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
- Assist with preparation and coordination of the external audit process
- Train new employees on the accounts payable system
- Act as a liaison between Finance and vendors/operating companies
- Other responsibilities as delegated
- Concur and NetSuite experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, regulations and best practices
- Must be proactive, have strong attention to detail and have strong organizational skills
- The Senior Accountant must have strong MS Excel experience
