Interim Payroll Manager - Unity Search Group

UNITY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to assist our client during a critical post-system implementation phase.  The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of payroll processes, strong technical skills and a proven ability to manage complex payroll functions and staff. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze new payroll system to identify areas of improvement.
• Assist with documentation and additional training as needed.
• Process payroll and answer employee inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Monitor payroll processes for potential errors and discrepancies, implementing corrections where needed.
• Provide guidance and support for a team of processors.

Qualifications:

• Degree in accounting, finance or related fields.
• Experience with Oracle required.
• Experience supervising and managing a large payroll team.
• Proven experience with payroll system implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
