Major, Lindsey & Africa's Talent Group is seeking a Junior Litigation Paralegal to support the Dispute Resolution team. The primary responsibilities for this role will include managing administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence to stakeholders and handling audit request letters. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 40 hours per week for a duration of 12+ months, with the potential for eventual conversion to a permanent role.
Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support the Dispute Resolution Team. The role involves independently reviewing and analyzing service process documents, as well as drafting and/or reviewing legal pleadings, including motions and discovery requests/responses.

Experience: More than four (4) years of legal experience, either in a corporate legal department or a law firm, including drafting and/or reviewing legal pleadings such as motions and discovery requests/responses, with expertise in TeamConnect.
Location: HYBRID
Responsibilities Include:
- Review and analyze service process documents and related materials.
- Draft and/or review legal pleadings, including motions and discovery requests/responses.
- Support various tasks related to electronic discovery and document preservation.
- Collaborate with the business to collect documents responsive to discovery requests.
- Assist in preparing company witnesses for depositions and testimony.
- Follow instructions from multiple attorneys, collaborate with colleagues, and provide support for special projects. Additionally, coordinate efforts with outside counsel as needed.
- Ability to be a self-starter and self-motivated.
- Ability to independently analyze and solve problems, understand and improve processes, and execute solutions.
- High attention to detail and precision in legal writing, together with a common sense understanding of the legal and business purposes the documents serve.
Qualifications Include:
- Over four (4) years of legal experience, either within a corporate legal department or a law firm.
- Strong proficiency and in-depth understanding of discovery and electronic discovery matters.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and/or Paralegal certificate.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal, Microsoft 365, and other document retention tools and practices.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Expertise in TeamConnect
