About the Job
We are on the hunt for a dynamic Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in our executive management team. This individual will not only spearhead multiple departments as designated by our Chief Executive Officer but also inject leadership, vision, and direction into the heart of our operations. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in sculpting the strategic direction and achieving the operational objectives of their areas of responsibility, alongside other critical service lines entrusted to them.
What You'll Do:
Lead with Vision: Provide inspirational leadership and direction to department heads and their teams, nurturing an environment of growth, efficiency, and innovation.
Strategic Oversight: Take charge of the administrative direction for your assigned departments, ensuring the alignment with our overarching goals. You'll have the authority to make key hiring and firing decisions, with a collaborative check from the CEO, to shape a high-performing team.
Policy and Performance: Engage in meaningful dialogue with the CEO to suggest and refine policies that enhance operational efficiency. You'll also be responsible for implementing these policies and ensuring they're communicated effectively across your departments.
Facility and Equipment Upgrades: Champion the improvement of our facilities, including the renovation of structures and acquisition of cutting-edge equipment, to maintain our competitive edge and enhance service delivery.
Budgets and Financials: Play a key role in the budgeting process, empowering department heads to understand and participate actively in financial forecasting, planning, and management to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate inter-departmental cooperation and understanding, addressing challenges collectively to foster a more cohesive and effective organizational structure.
Professional Representation: Act as an ambassador for our hospital within the professional community, expanding our network and influence through active participation in relevant associations.
