Payrate: $75-100/hr for approximately 3 month long engagement

Interview Process:
Additional Notes: Role will be focused on completing year end duties and working alongside Assistant Controller to manage 4 accounting professionals (seniors, staff, and accounting clerk).
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Hands-on Controller with the ability and desire to lead a team of accounting personnel
• Responsible for managing all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Manage financial transactions and accounting activities related to acquisitions, sales and construction. Research complex accounting issues
• Prepare and reconcile schedules of capital contributions by investor and member loans
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Coordinate annual financial audits and reviews
• Coordinate with external tax preparers to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements and timely filing of returns and distribution of K-1s
• Develop and maintain SOPs and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Complete ad hoc reporting for CFO and ownership
• Effectively manage and mentor accounting team, including recruiting, training, and retaining talent
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders, equity partners, and consultants
