About the Role

The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee its financial management and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the overall financial health of the organization. This includes managing cash flow, financial risk, and investments, as well as leading the preparation of financial statements and reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors. The Interim CFO will also be tasked with implementing and reviewing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, and leading the annual and multi-year budgeting process. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in financial management, accounting, and operations, with a strong background in nonprofit accounting. The role requires expertise in financial forecasting, risk management, and investment oversight, as well as a proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional financial operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, and an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. The Interim CFO will also be expected to ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements, and to serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
