Interim Chief Financial Officer (Internal Posting)

Job Location: Bronx, NY

Reports to: Executive Director

Program hours: Monday to Friday; 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (in-person)

Salary: Annualized at $135,000 – $150,000, based on qualifications, plus benefits

Geel Community Services’ Mission:

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: This position requires that the applicant have a college or university degree with major course work in accounting, business or finance. MBA or CPA required (Accounting degree is preferred). Considerable knowledge of financial management and reporting is required.
• Experience: This position requires that the applicant have five years plus experience working in a controller or equivalent position with supervisory responsibility. Non-profit experience is a plus. Must possess good verbal, written and communication skills, and excellent computer skills (including proficient knowledge of Excel and computer accounting systems).
