Interim Chief Financial Officer - GloballyHired

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead and strengthen financial operations within a fast-paced environment. As CFO, oversee strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management, focusing on driving growth and optimizing financial performance. This role is hybrid based out of Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger management, data analysis, and revenue reconciliation.
• Direct the preparation of monthly financial reports, covering comparative financial statements and profitability analyses.
• Manage the budgeting process for both operational and capital expenditures and monitor budget adherence.
• Evaluate and manage institutional risks, including insurance agreements, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead financial planning and analysis, prepare special-purpose financial reports, and maintain internal audit controls.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance or Accounting; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with effective communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Jenzabar, QuickBooks) and financial analysis tools.
