Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a dynamic organization in Greenwich, CT. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial leadership, strategic planning, and operational management. This is a hands-on role requiring someone with a proactive mindset and the ability to work closely with senior leadership to drive financial health and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s goals and growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, including GAAP and other financial standards.
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and risk management processes.
• Lead financial audits, coordinate with external auditors, and present findings to the board and executive team.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the finance team, enhancing their capabilities and ensuring effective performance.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop long-term strategic plans and support operational initiatives.
• Analyze and present financial data to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• Extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or equivalent.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and operational management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with financial systems and tools, such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
