Position: Interim Business License / Indirect Tax Consultant
About the Role: We are actively recruiting for a Senior Tax Consultant to join our client on a consulting basis. This is an onsite role with a renowned company in South Gate, CA. We are urgently seeking an experienced professional to assist with business license renewals, indirect tax, and sales & use tax. This consulting engagement requires an immediate start and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and maintain all business licenses, permits, and business taxes for the company.
- Calculate necessary liabilities as required.
- Ensure timely payment by providing instructions to the AP department or by processing payment online.
- Handle indirect tax returns.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in business license renewals, indirect tax, and sales & use tax
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to thrive without much supervision and be a self-starter.
- Prior experience in construction industry is a plus.
- Must be available to work onsite five days a week.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
