Schedule is set and consists of 12 hour "rotating" shifts which switch at 7am/7pm working you 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, with overtime that week. We offer 401k retirement with company matching, as well as Group Health insurance through Anthem Blue Cross insurance. Vacation and other benefits are available for full time employees. Part time positions are also available. Both day and Night shifts open. Generally an individual is selected for either the day or night shifts and do not "swing" between these shifts.
Job Summary:
Provide transportation services for medically cleared individuals in need of in-patient psychiatric or detox treatment to a destination which is generally 60-120 miles away. The vehicles utilized for these transports are either a Toyota Sienna, Ford Taurus or a Ford Explorer.
Job Functions:
- Provide safe and efficient transport of individuals as scheduled by our dispatch center generally from hospitals to in-patient psychiatric or detox facilities. This includes but is not limited to assisting individuals to and from vehicle; and efficient transfer of individuals to receiving personnel.
- Operate/drive in accordance with company’s driving standards, policies and procedures. Ensure safety of occupants by observing safe driving practices; seat belt application and general passenger security.
- Record transportation logs; obtain required documentation; complete all forms are required by policy.
- Report and document all needed repairs to proper maintenance department and management.
- Comply with all FCC regulations and company policy when utilizing electronic communications equipment.
- Perform general safety and proper operations check; includes but is not limited to: fluid checks, tire checks, horn check, fuel checks.
- Maintain vehicle; includes but is not limited to: washing & waxing exterior; cleaning interior; re-fueling, adding air to tires, checking oil daily.
- Attend all mandatory training (paid) and staff meetings.
- Maintain up to date certifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current and valid state driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Current CPR certificate (can be provided if needed in our training center)
- Background check clearance.
