Summary:
This position is in the Office of Intelligence and Threat Analysis (ITA), Directorate of Threat Investigations and Analysis (TIA), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Department of State (DoS).
In this position you will be responsible for warning on, assessing, and disseminating intelligence analysis related to threats of terrorism, political violence, and crime targeting U.S. diplomatic, public, and private interests overseas, as well interests under the protection of DS.

This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience conducting analysis of intelligence information.
- Experience evaluating the validity, accuracy, and reliability of intelligence information from a variety of sources.
- Experience drafting and issuing a wide variety of security material and information.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
