We are currently looking to hire an Intelligence Analyst to join our team embedded with our client in Seattle! This position requires working a hybrid schedule from our client's Headquarters in Seattle, WA.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This North America-focused Intelligence Analyst position requires rapid assessments of open-source information to identify potential threats and mitigate identified risks to corporate sites, travelers, and other assets in the Western United States and Western Canada. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to multi-task, provide deep-dive analysis, and summarize relevant information for other analysts and senior management. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work independently, think critically, review and assess large data sets, produce well-organized and clearly written products, and prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced and challenging environment that requires significant attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively analyze relevant threats or trends to provide assessments of potentially imminent security situations, sensitive developments, and complex threats in the Western US and Western Canada
- Produce white papers, intelligence notes, threat assessments, location overviews, and deep-dive analyses in a cohesive, concise, and visually appealing format across multiple business lines
- Understand the North American security risk environment and deliver customized strategic analysis, with little-to-no oversight
- Lead the development of new projects, drive analysis, and craft assessments to help inform business decisions
- Triage incoming requests for support, provide timely and pertinent analysis, and coordinate efforts with other departments
- Build and maintain business relationships internally, as well as with external partners
- Provide 24/7 support as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years' experience working in the intelligence field
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in open-source investigation techniques
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to assess complex information and succinctly communicate (both written and verbal) to various stakeholders
- Experience working with highly confidential information
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, network analysis, and structured analytic techniques
- Demonstrated research capabilities and ability to drive projects without supervision
- Demonstrated multitasking and critical thinking skills, especially in high-stress situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and help implement new ideas to help drive the program forward
- Demonstrate an ability to work independently, think critically, review and assess large data sets, and prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced and challenging environment that requires significant attention to detail
- This position requires up to 10% travel
