Integration Engineer at Tek Labs Inc

Position Overview:

The Electric Powertrain Solutions Team within the Electrification Division is seeking two Integration Engineers to join their core team in Mossville, IL. This team works on cutting-edge electrification projects, supporting technical leads in a variety of tasks from concept design to machine builds.

Job Title: Integration Engineer (2 Openings)
Location: Mossville, IL
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour
Contract duration- 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Support technical leads in:
  • Concept design and requirement gathering from product groups.
  • Simulation coordination and packaging work for physical components in chassis and cable routing.
  • Planning and executing validation activities.
  • Machine builds, conversions, issue resolution, and troubleshooting.
  • Data analysis and technical specification translation.
• Collaborate with product groups and suppliers to develop and refine components.
• Conduct lab work at the Tech Center (~10% of work).
• Develop calculation tools using spreadsheets.
• Interrogate and create 3D models in CREO.
• Design electrical schematics using CREO.
• Perform light simulations using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, etc.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical systems (60V+).
  • Familiarity with stationary power generation.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards, including ISO 6-2-04.
  • Schematic design expertise.
  • Strong skills in CREO for 3D modeling and electrical schematics.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and PSpice.
  • Experience in packaging and cable routing.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical data effectively.

Work Environment:

• On-Site Requirement: 90% in-office, 10% lab work at the Tech Center.
