Overview
Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking Mechanical/Integration Engineer that will integrate mission equipment packages onto tactical vehicles. in support of the Army Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program.
The PM PNT program provides administrative, business management, programmatic contracting, information technology (IT), program management, engineering, logistics, test and evaluation (T&E), training, operations, security, technology protection, foreign military sales, and acquisition and strategic planning services to the Army director PNT systems.
The SETA services provided to PM PNT shall support the planning, development, management, sustainment, and execution of the U.S. Army’s PNT portfolio. PM PNT provides coordinated PNT system of systems architecture and associated PNT products for the Army’s mounted and dismounted platforms. PM PNT is the Army’s lifecycle manager for the Mounted Assured PNT System (MAPS), Dismounted Assured PNT System (DAPS), Assured Protection and ALTNAV Technology Development; and the Resiliency and Software Assurance Measures (RSAM)., as well as any future PNT efforts in both the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).
This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days on site in Aberdeen, MD.
Salary Range
Full pay range for this position is 120,000 to $160,000 per year, with the starting wage determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Support classified and unclassified host platform technical installations including design reviews, troubleshooting, on-site assistance, and technology demonstrations.
- Support the system engineering process with an integration review and inputs to documents such as requirements, interface control documents, hardware interfaces, software interfaces, engineering plans, training plans, and test plans.
- Install Government provided prefabricated kits comprised of displays, mounts, brackets, global positioning system (GPS) antennas, and installation software, onto a system, as needed. The Contractor shall collaborate with platform integration subject matter experts as part of this task.
- Integrate prefabricated kits comprised of PNT dismounted systems comprised of HW and SW; in support of PNT tests and fielding of systems.
- Conduct installation efforts of hardware and software in support of experimentation/demonstration efforts related to improved current products or emerging PM PNT solutions.
- Validate and verify hardware and software functionality in host platforms and provide product familiarization for platform users and platform integrators.
- Attend PM PNT program reviews (i.e., SPR, SSR, SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, PRR, FCA and PCA) including pre- and post-review meetings; attend IPTs and working groups; and provide recommendations for engineering, testing, and other improvements.
- Support laboratory and field testing
- Support logistics and maintenance planning, execution
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
- An active DoD Secret level security clearance is required.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering with 10 years of experience or a master's degree with 8 years’ experience in C5ISR hardware integration for DoD systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to decompose system level requirements to sub-system performance specifications.
- Be familiar with entry/exit criteria for system engineering process, establishing criteria for each stage of a product's lifecycle.
- Experienced in the integration of mission equipment packages into tactical vehicles and the testing processes needed to assure interoperability with installed and/or component systems.
- Experienced with Agile System Development / Rapid Prototyping Process.
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework(RMF) / Information Assurance / Program Protection Process.
- Strong understanding of Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) Entry / Exit Criteria.
- Possess technical understanding of required support for Test Plan Development and Review, test support, test operations.
- Experiences with SoS architecture and Systems integration.
- Experience with 3D modeling packages (Creo, etc.)
- Familiarity with Arm operator and maintainer manuals
- This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days on site in Aberdeen, MD.
- This position may require travel in and out of the contiguous US.
