Integration Developer and Data Analyst - Touro University New York

Overview:

Integration developer and data analyst supporting Touro University data integrations, database systems, and central applications. This position is responsible for the day-to-day IT operational support for existing multi-platform environments with minimal supervision, perform high-level tasks. This role maintains data integrity and resiliency managing database backups, monitoring and alerts related to database, applications, integration platforms. This postion assists with the integration data pipelines, API development and software components deployed to maintain high availability for existing and future IT Solutions. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to pull and integrate data from diverse sources into a unified database, SaaS, APIs.
• Write efficient SQL, Oracle store procedures, functions, triggers code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ETL) processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for data integration processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and supportability.
• Install new software releases and system upgrades for the application servers, database instances.
• Maintain and monitor systems to ensure infrastructure integrity.
• Support issue resolution and performance tunning.
• Escalade issues to management and other teams when appropriate; follows up on issues and the results of issues resolution.
• Maintain the SQL environment, assuring replication, security and updates.
• Maintain the data integrity ensuring high availability primary services.
• Propose proactive measures to prevent issues.
• Keeps management informed of technical trends and/or emerging technologies.
• Actively participates to improve procedures and standards.
• Provide training and technical guidance to less experienced team members and internal customers.
• Develop documentation to communicate complex ideas and data integrations.
• Perform other functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/ Experience

• Bachelor’s in computer science, information systems, business administration or related fields; or equivalent work experience 2 or more years as a technology professional
• Pre-implementation project planning and ability to work with different Project Management frameworks.
• Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role with a focus on data integration and analytics Expertise in SQL, TSQL, .NET core programming languages strongly preferred
• API’s, PUB/SUB and iPaaS platform experience Cloud knowledge on serverless technologies, docker containers, CICD pipelines as a plus
• Experience with Microservice Architecture and SaaS applications a plus Knowledge of Microsoft server technologies and services deployment

Maximum Salary:USD $67,600.00/Yr.Minimum Salary:USD $54,080.00/Yr.
