Luminator is seeking to fill our full-time Integrated Solutions Architect role to join our growing and dynamic Executive Team where you will have a significant impact on the direction and success of our company's product ecosystem and market position. The successful Integrated Solutions Architect candidate will be part of a team working to expand a strong and proven concept that has solid growth potential, with the opportunity to create substantial shareholder value. You will be responsible for delivering HW and SW solutions to the public transit space. The primary focus is on developing integrated solutions that seamlessly connect our current and future products into a cohesive platform. This role plays a key role in evolving the business from a traditional single product-based model to an innovative, interconnected ecosystem, integrating advanced hardware, SaaS technology, integration, operations, and monitoring capabilities. The Integrated Solutions Architect assists in the definition of a "Connected Platform" strategy, integrating various products into a unified solution. The Integrated Solutions Architect will conceptualize and implement strategies for connected devices and systems, ensuring seamless integration and robust functionality through advanced technology (hardware, software, and connectivity) and open interfaces. The role demands staying abreast of industry trends in IoT, networking, system integration, and smart technology, applying this knowledge to LTG’s innovation agenda. This includes understanding and working to address the evolving needs of our industry and customers.

- Strategic Solution Integration:
- Independently plan and design of hardware and software components into a unified solution platform.
- Develop innovative strategies to enhance the functionality and interoperability of our product ecosystem.
- Connected Platform Development:
- Design the Connected Platform, aligning it with our strategic goals and customer needs.
- Architect solutions that seamlessly integrate across multiple platforms, systems, and applications.
- Focus on creating a platform that offers seamless integration, advanced connectivity, and an improved user experience.
- Operational Efficiency and SaaS Transition:
- Guide the transition from up-front pricing models towards a recurring revenue model. This includes models such as SaaS, HaaS, and leasing/subscription options that align with our strategic objectives.
- System Integration and Standardization:
- Ensure our solutions are designed for seamless integration with diverse systems and technologies. Work to address evolving standards i.e. IPXPT, C2V.
- Advocate for and maintain standardization and interoperability to ensure compatibility and efficiency across our product range.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to bring solutions from conception to implementation.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and understandably.
- Scalability and Performance Optimization:
- Design solutions with scalability in mind, considering future growth and evolving business needs.
- Identify and implement performance optimization strategies for integrated solutions.
- Security and Compliance:
- Integrate robust security measures into solutions, ensuring data protection and compliance with industry standards.
- Stay updated on security best practices and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.

The Integrated Solutions Architect will be an experienced, operationally oriented professional who can successfully lead as a very hands-on Integrated Solutions Architect to scale for additional growth and maximize potential.
This professional will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field strongly desired.
- 10+ years in engineering leadership, with a proven track record in IoT, SaaS, and software development.
- Expertise in integrating diverse hardware and software systems into cohesive solutions.
- Experience in transitions to SaaS models and implementing efficient engineering practices.
- Proficient in networking, software stacks, and IoT technologies and their application in integrated solutions.
- Industry certifications related to enterprise architecture and integration.
- Ability to develop and execute complex technical strategies that align with industry trends and organizational objectives.
- Capable of independently managing comprehensive solution integration projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications is required, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
