As a Permanent Intake Specialist in the Legal industry, you will play a crucial role in the first line of contact for our prospective clients. This position will require you to utilize your excellent communication skills, empathy, and legal knowledge to assist individuals seeking legal counsel. You will be responsible for conducting initial screenings of potential clients, gathering vital information, and determining the suitability of their cases for our legal team. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, providing empathetic and efficient customer service.
2. Conduct initial client screenings via telephone or in-person to gather necessary information about their potential cases.
3. Utilize your knowledge of Personal Injury, Employment Law, and/or Workers’ Compensation to evaluate the potential of each case.
4. Ensure all client information is accurately recorded and updated in our database.
5. Collaborate with our legal team to relay information and coordinate next steps for potential cases.
6. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
7. Stay updated with changes in law and legal processes to provide the most accurate information to potential clients.
8. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your legal knowledge and client service skills.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the legal industry.
2. Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a must.
3. In-depth knowledge of Personal Injury, Employment Law, and/or Workers’ Compensation.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and understand their needs.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in using CRM software and other office technology.
7. A strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
8. Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
9. A bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
