Intake-Recovery Specialist/Outreach Liaison - Ohel Children's Home and Family Services

Seeking a high energy professional with strong written and verbal communication skills to join Ohel’s Kadimah PROS program as an Intake-Recovery Specialist/Outreach Liaison. Responsibilities include coordination of intakes and admissions, maintaining a caseload of 10-15 adults with Severe Mental Illness, one to one counseling, group sessions, timely documentation in accordance with OMH, Medicaid and HIPAA regulations. Appropriate candidate will clinically assess applicants for admission into the program, as well as research their eligibility related to PROS reimbursement. Candidate will conduct outreach to mental health facilities, developing ongoing relationships with community agencies, and participate in clinical team meetings as needed. A minimum of 1 year working with the mental health population and LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, or limited permit required. This full time position is based in Brooklyn.

Salary: $55,000
