Directors & Officers Liability Insurance Underwriter - Waukegan, IL
| Seeking individual with background underwriting new and renewal business focused on Directors & Officers Liability risks to join a company and make a lasting impact through growth of a profitable book of business. Activities: *** Evaluate applications and determine terms, rates, and plans based on risk, financial status, and loss-run history. *** Develop and maintain guidlines, rules, rates, forms, and standards; maintain adherence to legal and regulatory laws governing D&O Liability underwriting efforts. *** Ensure proper underwriting procedures are followed and accounts are underwritten according to guidelines. Qualifications: *** 3+ years Directors & Officers Liability underwriting expertise, or similar Executive Risk underwriting experience. *** Ability to work hand-in-hand with operations, business development, and upper executive management to enhance current products and develop new products focused on profitable business. Salary to $120,000 with end of year bonus potential, company covered competitive benefits package including full medical, dental and vision plans.
