Job Description:
We are seeking an Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, our clients will look to you as an advisor to assist them in finding the right insurance solutions. You will utilize your persuasive abilities and build trust with the clients. To be successful, you must have an active Texas Property and Casualty or Group Health License and experience in insurance OR sales plus an ambitious go-getter with an eye for details.

As an Insurance Sales Representative, your main responsibilities would include prospecting for new Property and Casualty or Group Insurance businesses, achieving sales goals, and cultivating customer relationships. A Property and Casualty License or Group Health License and 2+ years of insurance experience are a must-have. Compensation for this entry-level position is base salary + Commission + Bonuses.

Responsibilities
- Focus primarily on Property & Casualty or Group Insurance
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through cold calling, warm leads, networking, referrals, and other lead-generation methods.
- Create insurance quotes based on prospects' personal needs and goals. Discuss the benefits and close sales.
- Actively listen to the clients objections and concerns. Address the clients concerns carefully, clearly, and professionally.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and meet sales targets.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and follow established protocols.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalency is Required.
- Texas Property and Casualty or Group Insurance License Required.
- 2+ years of insurance industry experience. Willing to consider candidates without insurance experience.
- OR 5+ years of demonstrated success in sales if you do not have insurance experience. (phone sales, real estate, banking, inside or outside sales, car sales)
- Able to build rapport quickly as well as bounce back from customer rejection
- Experience working in an office environment, using a multiline phone system, and utilizing computer software. Proficient typing/data entry skills.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Agency Management Systems (AMS)
- Ambitious self-starter with the ability to work independently to hit targets and collaborate with team members.
