The Guillory-August Allstate Agency in Lake Charles, LA is looking for a dedicated, driven individual to join our growing team as a Full-Time Sales Representative. Whether you are an experienced Property and Casualty Lines Sales Representative or are ready to begin a brand new career in insurance, we want you to apply. You will be using your professional demeanor, willingness to learn and excellent communication skills to service new and existing accounts to achieve agency sales goals and service standards. This is an in-office position that encourages rapport building outside of the office.

Experienced Licensed Property and Casualty Sales Representatives will have a weekly base salary with the advantage of earning commissions from day one. The current sales team commission averages $2500 to $5500 monthly.
No previous insurance sales experience? No problem!
Are you currently selling another product outside of the insurance industry, or someone with no sales experience just looking to begin a career in insurance? This may be the perfect fit for you! Entry-level candidates start with a base salary of $33,000 and earn up to $18,000 in additional commission in your first year. We place a large emphasis on training and development and you will be working closely with the agency owner until you are confident and comfortable in your sales ability.

Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
- Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
- Maintain knowledge of new products
- Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources
- Be outstanding at relationship building
- Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities
