What the day will look like
- Manage caseload in a TPA capacity for voluntary benefits on a payroll deduction platform.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients.
- Work with client to start, change and stop payroll deductions on schedule.
- Application and reconciliation payroll deduction remittance files including research and reconciliation of all discrepancies.
- Utilization of insurance carrier resources to research status, paid to dates, premiums waived.
- Payment and reconciliation of insurance carrier invoices, closely working with carrier and other teams to resolve any discrepancies.
- Process cancellations, policy changes, recalculations and rate increases.
- Provide customer services to employees, clients and insurance carriers in a timely and professional manner via phone and email.
- Documentation of all research and communications
- Refund overpayments and bill for underpayments.
- Utilize IBM and Ebix Enterprise systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- 1+ year experience in Billing and Reconciliation
- 1+ year experience in Customer service
- MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Webex, Teams
- Third Party Administration experience a plus but not required
- Billing experience working with insurance carriers a plus but not required
- Spanish speaking and writing a plus but not required
Education:
- High School Diploma
Pay Transparency:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $35,000 to $44,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
