Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
NOW OFFERING $500 Sign On Bonus!
Full-time ONLY - Paid out in two halves after 30 and 90 days of employment
A Child's World Developmental Center - Doylestown is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers to support the following age groups:
-Infants
-Toddlers
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we REQUIRE each candidate be at least 18 years of age, have the ability to pass all background checks and have at least one of the following:
- HS diploma OR GED AND 30 credit hours in early childhood education or related field
- HS diploma OR GED AND 15 credit hours in early childhood education related field AND 1+ year of childcare experience
- HS diploma AND Childcare Development Associate (CDA) OR Certified Childcare Professional (CCP)
- HS diploma OR GED AND 2+ years of childcare experience
- HS diploma OR GED AND PA School-Age Professional credential in elementary educator or child development AND 1+ years of childcare experience
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm OR 8:30am - 5:30pm
Compensation: $14 - $15 per hour, based on education and experience (+$500 sign on bonus)

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
