Insurance Defense Attorney Responsibilities:
- Litigate cases from start to finish.
- Manage 30-40 cases at a time.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide client recommendations.
- Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Handle depositions, witness preparation, and participate in trial and mediation.
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams to build strong cases.
Insurance Defense Attorney Essential Job Functions:
- Exhibit expertise in insurance defense litigation strategies.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients throughout legal proceedings.
- Efficiently manage caseloads for timely and cost-effective resolutions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws impacting insurance defense litigation.
- Excel in communication and negotiation with opposing counsel and parties involved.
Skills:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active law license in the relevant jurisdiction, with 3-10 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
