Insurance Defense Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a premiere AV-rated full-service law firm. The firm has been fortunate to represent numerous clients who are members of the Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 list of multinational corporations. We are seeking a highly motivated litigation attorney with insurance defense experience.  

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Manage all litigation phases, including case management, motions, mediation, and trial prep.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Provide timely legal advice and communication to clients on legal and factual matters.
• Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel per office procedures.
• Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence in trials and hearings.
• Preference handling matters in Construction defects, general/professional liability, insurance coverage, medical malpractice, toxic tort, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in California litigation
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Base Salary $170,000 - $225,000
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
