Busy boutique law firm in Chicago is looking to add an Insurance Defense Attorney to their team.  They offer hybrid work schedule(after 90 onsite training) for that work-life balance, excellent benefits, collegial work atmosphere and opportunity for advancement.

Position: Insurance Defense Attorney 

Location: Chicago, IL 

Experience: 3+ years

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in litigation phases, including trials and appeals.
• Manage complex insurance defense cases.
• Draft motions, take depositions, and handle discovery.
• Provide strategic legal advice on insurance defense matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on case strategies.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois.
• Minimum 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with time-management skills.

Compensation:

• Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 based on experience.
• Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and generous bonuses.
