We are currently seeking a new Associate Attorney to assist in its non-subscriber defense and commercial litigation practice.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing a caseload of complex insurance defense matters, assisting with cases from beginning to end.
2. Representing clients in a wide range of insurance claims, including general liability, property and casualty, workers' compensation, and professional liability etc.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis for the preparation of reports to assess case merits.
4. Drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs and opinions.
5. Assis with conducting and defending depositions, discovery, negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and trial.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Insurance Defense Attorney, candidates must possess the following:
1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the TX bar.
3. 2+ years of experience in the Insurance Defense practice area, with a focus on General Liability.
4. Willing to work in office
