Insurance Customer Service Representative - Scott Insurance Services

Growing and expanding agency in West Des Moines in search of a forward thinking Personal Lines Account Executive. Must have personal insurance license and have personal insurance experience in an independent insurance agency is desired. This position is responsible for service of an established and growing book of business. Salary commensurate with experience.

Salary Range: $56000.00 - $60000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for service, maintenance and set-up related to Personal Lines accounts.
• Review and analyze personal accounts for coverage, limits, etc., and make appropriate recommendations to clients.
• Quote various personal lines products through multiple carriers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that all service needs are met.
• Gather information from clients and prepare personal lines insurance applications.
• Prepare all transactions for assigned accounts, i.e. applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, forms.
• Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system.

Qualifications

• Personal lines insurance license required.
• Previous experience working in an independent insurance agency.
• Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task and follow up as needed.
