Responsibilities
Assist policyholders with inquiries regarding their insurance policies, including coverage details, payment processes, and claims.
Provide personalized service through professional communication, ensuring all customer needs and questions are addressed promptly.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting all activities accurately in the system.
Collaborate with the sales and underwriting teams to address specific customer needs and facilitate problem resolution.
Promote company offerings to enhance customer knowledge and satisfaction, encouraging service plan upgrades and additional policy purchases.
Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen ongoing relationships.
Stay updated on industry changes and policy modifications to provide accurate and current information to customers.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry, is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential to effectively assist customers and resolve their inquiries.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Availability: Ability to work on-site in Eldersburg, Maryland, and maintain a consistent presence for direct customer interaction.
Maryland Property and Casualty License required.
