An insurance attorney is a lawyer who handles legal matters related to insurance laws and insurance regulations. Insurance law involves issues and disputes arising from the sale, use, and payment of insurance policies, including insurance bad faith and insurance fraud.

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site 3 days a week at the Philadelphia office. Additional WFH days may be earned over time.

Note: Must have relevant defense litigation experience.

Job Description:

• Represent clients in insurance coverage matters, primarily on the defense side
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and witness preparation
• Provide courtroom representation, managing trials and hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys for guidance and case strategy

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation
• Strong litigation skills with recent experience
• Defense-side focus is required
• Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania (additional admissions a plus)
