About the Job
The firm is seeking an Insurance Associate to join the 3-4 year associate class.
The ideal candidate is someone that has concentrated on insurance and reinsurance related representation and has experience doing regulatory and insurance centric transactional work with an upscale boutique or national/international insurance firm.
The New York office is looking for an associate who can take responsibility, and is experienced in all aspects of insurance and reinsurance, insurance regulatory/transactional work, and has litigation experience and skills, including having taken and defended multiple depositions, and argued pre-trial and substantive motions in court.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong organizational and writing skills, demonstrated good judgment, and the desire and ability to work closely and independently with sophisticated clients.

The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $240,000 to a maximum of $275,000 per year.
The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm.
