The Opportunity
Insurance Assistant Operations Manager – Plantation, FL (onsite/in-person)
Salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience, plus bonus opportunities!
We are currently looking to add an Insurance Assistant Operations Manager to our team in Plantation, Florida. As an Insurance Assistant Operations Manager, you will be involved with all backend functions of an Insurance Policy, including but not limited to Binding, Policy Issuance, Endorsements and Risk Management. You will ensure that the company’s services meet quality standards through goal setting, collaborating, and instituting changes to meet evolving customer demands. Some key functions include enhancing operational procedures and systems, partnering with leadership, and building relationships through great customer service.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
- Review processes with operations management team and implement changes as needed to direct organizational change in a fast paced ever evolving Insurance Industry.
- Support in the recruiting and selection process
- Train, assign, schedule, coach, and counsel employees.
- Communicate job expectations through planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job individual/ team contributions.
- Partner with Insurance Carriers and colleagues to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure exceptional customer service for internal and external customers, building strong relationships with our agents, underwriters, insurance carriers, and colleagues by responding in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and develop ways of improving the customer experience which includes problem resolutions.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of insurance experience required.
- Completion of an insurance certification or designation is a plus but not required (2-20, 4-40, AINS, AU, ARM, CPCU, etc)
- Ability to lead others and get results through others.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining priorities organized.
- Problem analysis and resolution
- Willingness to understand the larger scope of business practices within the organization
- Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with a commitment to company values
- Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
