We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Accounting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Salary Range: $45000.00 - $50000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including processing invoices, billing, and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Execute journal entries and reconcile accounts to validate financial data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide backup support for payroll operations and assist with processing company commissions.
- Drive paperless process improvement initiatives within AR/AP to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools for data analysis, with experience in Excel and QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and precision, with the opportunity to drive improvements in financial processes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing work environments and priorities.
