Position Overview;
- Will feel like a welcomed family member in this position where they are looking for someone that will have a great opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role.
- Will be joining a 5-member shared-finance team and be responsible for balancing books, put dollars and cents behind company policies, incoming premiums, and payouts, and maintaining general ledger.
- Also be working with the firms banks.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of accounting experience (preferably within the insurance industry)
- Bachelors or Masters in Accounting is a must have (CPA is a plus)
- Solid knowledge of Insurance Accounting Principles, Regulations and Industry Practices is ideal
- Experience Budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis
- Cash flow management
- Experience Preparing Financial Reports and Regulatory filings
- Experience Preparing Journal Entries and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Salary: $85k - $125k/yr.
