- Worksite Location: Denver, Colorado - Hybrid (3 days onsite)
- Salary Range: $90,000-$95,000 per year
- Book of Business: Real Estate Clients
- Note: Must have minimum 6 years experience as an Insurance Account Manager supporting the real estate category.
What you’ll do as the Insurance Account Manager - Real Estate:
- Support the Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects
- Initiate renewal process for existing clients and discuss renewal strategy with Producer
- Analyze and compare current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing
- Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes for competitiveness and accuracy
- Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals
- Finalize proposals and presentations in coordination with the Producers
- Bind insurance coverage, prepare and review binders of insurance, and delegate certificate issuance
- Review policies, identify deficiencies, and determine the appropriate level of coverage
- Prepare summaries and schedules of coverage for clients
- Prepare and maintain bordereaux for accounting and midterm transactions
- Review client accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact client on receivable collections
- Provide technical guidance to staff assisting with client needs or procedural issues
What you’ll bring to the Insurance Account Manager - Real Estate role:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry supporting the real estate category.
- Experience managing complex property, large market account with $1 million premiums
- Valid property and casualty insurance license
- Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
- Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
- Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
- Good problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
