We are looking for a talented Instrumentation Technician to carry out repairs, installation, and troubleshooting, for all instruments and electrical systems related to plant operations to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems including but not limited to Generators, PLCs, electric motors, motor controls, flow equipment, alarm and telemetry systems, heating and exhaust systems, conduits, cables, and relays.
Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with established procedures while utilizing the Maintenance connections system.
Troubleshoots installs and calibrates various instruments, including level transmitters, time flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, and differential pressure transmitters.
Performs basic mechanical repairs as required
Collaborate with Engineering and Operations staff
Provide electrical expertise including technical review for in-house modifications, additions, and major repairs.
Work in accordance with all company policies relating to health & safety, lock-out tag-out, and other safety procedures.
Other tasks as reasonably required.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
Essential
High School Diploma or GED required
3 or more years in a related field
Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs, fundamentals of DC current loop control, weigh scale load cell operation, motor starting control circuits, and interlock control systems
Understanding and interpreting schematics technical specifications and manufacturing manuals related to electrical repairs
Computer literate in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Fabrication ability
Must be available for Overtime work, holidays, weekends, and emergency call-out situations
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended time periods
Desirable
College courses completed in a related area, or skilled tradesman training
Experience with pressurized liquefied gas systems or HVAC background.
Experience with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC systems
Working knowledge of tuning PID loops
