The instrumentation Engineer will contribute to the design and/or redesign and development of electric vehicles and vehicle systems.

Description:
The instrumentation Engineer will contribute to the design and/or redesign and development of electric vehicles and vehicle systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee technicians during the prototype fabrication and testing phases.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department
- Analyzes current equipment; identifies areas of inefficiency and needs for improvement; designs and develops instrumentation to meet those needs.
- Collaborates with other engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and client expectations.
- Designs and tests prototypes
- Oversees the implementation of control systems, ensuring correct installation and proper testing.
- Acts as project engineer for design, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing development.
- Drafts and presents formal technical documents, reports, and testing results to manager for approval.
- Drafts technical manuals for instrumentation.
- Provides training to employees and/or customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Through understanding of test methods.
- Previous automotive experience (electric/autonomous vehicles a plus)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
