Instrumentation & Controls Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

We are looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to start working with a client of ours in Santa Clara, CA as soon as possible. This candidate will be responsible for electrical engineering, automation and controls design and project management, as well as managing field installations, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Required by Client

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• EIT certification with the ability to obtain a PE license in California.
• At least 5 years of experience, or equivalent work experience and certifications demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
• Solid understanding of control systems architecture and networks.
• Proficient in troubleshooting control systems and knowledgeable about process controls.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels, including customers and contractors.
• Competent in creating and editing AutoCAD drawings.
• Experience with low voltage systems.
• Capable of performing general load calculations.
• Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred by Client

• P.E License
• Knowledge of PLC and touch screen programming languages to program Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other PLCs

Pay Rate: $95k - $130k
