Job Description
- Step into a dynamic role where you'll design, develop, and install cutting-edge control systems. As an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, you'll integrate instruments, controllers, and interface devices to monitor and control processes, ensuring seamless operations. You'll program and start- up control systems, implement control logic, and configure HMI.

Education
- Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial, or a related field (preferred)
Position Requirements
- Provide technical leadership and support to Plant Operations and Service Technicians.
- Troubleshoot, analyze root causes, and resolve problems in existing electrical controls, instrumentation, networking, PLC, HMI, servo, and control systems.
- Support and program SCADA and PLC systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and panels.
- Deliver field service for customer calls and create comprehensive Start-Up and service reports.
- Collaborate effectively with project management, contractors, engineers, site managers, and vendors.
- Implement changes to PLC and SCADA systems based on engineering requests.
- Stay updated with the latest control applications and industry trends.
- Assist the Design and Engineering team in developing Control Design Standards and review controls submittals.
- Perform design checks for control panel projects and manage project budgets.
- Ensure the development and availability of training programs for the I&C team.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD drafting software.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and processes.
- Expertise in Rockwell Automation and familiarity with Schneider Electric and Direct Logic programming.
- Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings in a 2-D environment.
- Knowledge of 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC power systems.
- Experience with field instrumentation and systems like RTU, PLC, and SCADA.
- Familiarity with industrial and water treatment process specifications.
- Proficiency in reading P&IDs and programming PLC control logic.
- Skilled in troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software.
- Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
