Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician (Automation) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing automated equipment, as well as ensuring that it is operating efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair automation equipment, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Perform preventative maintenance on automated equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with automation equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to solve complex technical problems
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on automation equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automation Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automation equipment operation and maintenance
- Experience with PLC Maintenance, troubleshooting and programming
- Experience working with SAP is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
