Major/Essential Functions
Teach undergraduates in Political Science. Instructors will contribute to the course offerings in the department and will help to cover important political science classes including those required for majors to graduate. Candidates who have very strong records of scholarship supported by extramural funding and who have the proven capacity or clear potential to bring externally sponsored research at Texas Tech University are encouraged to apply. Service duties include program-building, as well as a commitment to extracurricular activities. Service to the department, college, university, and community is expected.Grant Funded?

Terminal academic degree (or its equivalent) as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. Ability to teach effectively. This position will be classified as Security Sensitive and requires a criminal background check if selected for employment.
