KBFS has an immediate requirement for a C208 Mission Instructor Pilot at our Crestview, FL, operations.

Position Description:

KBFS Crestview supports the U.S. Department of Defense in various training venues and through our air advisor operations training and the C208 Mission Instructor Pilot will be part of our IP team.

General Information:

FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), military or civilian instructor pilot in the past 10 years; must have served as an Evaluator Pilot (EP) for a military flying program.

Possess a minimum of 10 years military aviation experience with a minimum of 1,000 hours in turbine aircraft.

Training is normally conducted from Monday-Friday, but weather cancellations may alter that schedule.

Prior military U-28 or PC-12, Cessna 208, P-3, King Air/T-44, T-34/T-6 or equivalent experience (focused experience in the C-208 aircraft is preferred).

Served as an Evaluator Pilot (EP) for a military flight program. Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) required.

Working understanding of special mission tasks, including, Strike Operations, Video Downlink (VDL), Tactical Communications, Static & Dynamic ISR, Joint Operations, Tactical Departures and Approaches, Low Level/Very Low Level Operations, Substandard Field/Engine Running On/Offload (ERO) and Short-field landings/takeoffs. NVG experience is preferred.

Bachelors' Degree is preferred.
