Minimum Qualifications:
_Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire._
+ State of Colorado Certified Physician Assistant or Inclusion on the State of Colorado Advanced Practice Registry as an Advance Practice Nurse or
+ Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
+ Experience working independently as an advanced practice provider
+ ACLS Certified
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Three years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in ambulatory or inpatient management of cardiology patients
+ Cardiology experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including physicians, leadership, and staff within the various affiliate organizations (UCH, Children's Colorado, CU Medicine, CU SOM).
+ Ability to work within large, complex healthcare systems.
+ Ability to analyze and interpret data.
+ Ability to compile complex reports and develop presentations.
+ Ability to compose letters and memorandums.
+ Ability to deal calmly and courteously with people.
+ Ability to deal with stressful situations.
+ Ability to finish tasks promptly.
