About the Job
Responsible for conceptualizing and producing audio, video, animations, graphics, simulations, and other media elements for training solutions in partnership with Instructional Designers to increase job performance and develop the skills of the workforce in order to execute the Sheetz mission.
Responsibilities:1. Utilize industry-standard to develop and maintain educational multimedia elements, including digital content, graphics, animation, video/audio, and illustrations, used in training solutions.
2. Design multimedia elements to fit the needs of a target audience and in alignment with Sheetz instructional design strategy and Sheetz instructional design process, standards, and templates.
3. Ensure multimedia content is accessible, in adherence to UI/UX standards, is engaging, is aligned with learning objectives and instructional design principles.
4. Provides guidance to the Instructional Designers on best practices for the integration of multimedia and interactive design into training solutions.
5. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate all aspects of media related training projects.
6. Contribute to and update Talent Development Design Guidelines, as needed.
7. Working with IT, implement and maintain a multimedia platform that facilitates course-embedded and on demand media-based training materials.
8. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in educational multimedia development.
9. Ability to travel required to Sheetz locations for audio, video, and other media elements.

Education
• Associate’s degree in digital/new media design or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with multimedia authoring tools, including, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop), Articulate Storyline and Rise, or similar software, required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience coordination and completion of multiple, simultaneous media projects with diverse business partners and unique timelines, preferably within an educational context that considers program alignment and learning requirements, required.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design as well as web accessibility (WCAG 2.0+), web standards and best practices related to copyright, preferred.
• Familiarity with VR and AR technologies and software platforms, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or Adobe Aero, preferred.
