Job Title: Instructional Designer – Technical Training
Location: (100% REMOTE)
Work Hours: 40 hour, 5 days a week
Durations: 2 months
U.S. Citizenship is required.
A candidate who can create end user training and web courses to support our Training and Qualifications team. This role will provide focused, learner-centric online and virtual training to support compliance, and/or worker health and safety training.
Additional responsibilities will include, evaluating and responding to learner feedback and adapting/modifying training content as needed to ensure quality and continuous improvement. Monitoring successful completion and comprehension of training material and provide feedback to Management.
Qualifications/Skills:
Education:
Minimum of four (4) years related work experience. Experience developing online and classroom training to support information systems.
Experience developing training using online course development software and editing tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Lectora or similar tool.
Should possess excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a classroom and virtual setting.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver quality training materials that meet regulatory and industry requirements.
Familiarity with virtual meeting/training tools, such as MS Teams, Zoom, Adobe Connect or WebEx.
Familiarity with distance learning techniques and experience delivering presentations in a virtual environment.
Position Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, or related field or equivalent experience
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience implementing adult learning concepts
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
